Outdoor Zone

Mud kitchen

This is a very popular area, where children have an opportunity to demonstrate their experiences by making cakes, using spoons for candles, creating volcanoes from wet sand, filling up containers and pretending cooking them in the oven.

Construction zone

Variety of resources like foam bricks, wooden blocks,  cardboard tubes and cones, various tools and working bench inspire children to build, construct structures like towers, houses or fire station.

Imaginary area and reading corner

We provided a cosy corner for children to explore books, role play, using dressing up like hats bags, or using puppets to support children’s imagination. This is a popular area where children constantly communicate with each other, create buses or planes, using the chairs, pretend being the ambulance or bus drivers or superheroes. Here also children build their relationships with each other, develop friendships and learn to negotiate and cooperate with others. For those, who want to have a relaxing time, we have sensory mats and materials too.

Natural world

In this area children have an opportunity to learn how to look after the nature, by watering the plants, talk about how the plants grow, smell herbs, learn about insects by using our insect exploring kit, looking through magnifying glasses at insects or plants.

Water play

Children actively learn here through the play such mathematical notions like volume and quantity,  when they use different sizes measuring jugs or cylinders and learn to collect and transport water.

Physical development

We have a variety of equipment to support children's physical development and gross motor skills as well as eye coordination and awareness in space: bats and balls, walkers, large and small hoops, bean bags and buckets and targets for eye coordination, while learning throwing, wooden stepping stones and planks for obstacle courses, large tires and small wheels with handles for rolling, pushing and strengthening the core muscles.

Critical thinking area

In our critical thinking area children have an opportunity to use metal stands and gutters for balance ng and building a run for ball or water. They think of the ideas how to join gutters together and balance them on metal stands, predict and test how it works. It is always a popular area,  where children collaborate together to reach the same goal of building the longest run!
